To begin the onboarding process for a locally funded employee (LFE) or a substitute teacher, you will need to submit a Hire Employee form using the button on this page.
Even if you are rehiring an employee who previously worked for your entity, you will need to submit the Hire Employee form before he/she can begin working again. HR will check if he/she has a valid I-9 or if a new I-9 is needed. Rehired employees CANNOT work without a valid I-9.
Once HR processes the Hire Employee form, your new employee will be texted or emailed a link to the online onboarding paperwork.
Once the employee completes the I-9 portion of their onboarding, HR will notify you of his/her eligibility status. Do not allow a new employee to work prior to the day that he/she completes the I-9 through the online onboarding process. HR will also email payroll forms and information to both you and your new employee at this time.
The conference office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on the holidays noted on the conference calendar of events. Forms submitted when the office is closed will be processed on the next day the office is open.
